In their 17th video, the Marking Professionals from REA Elektronik keep it real

Marking Professionals from REA Elektronik keep it real in their 17th video

Mühltal, September 15, 2022 - "If you are a solid wood processing company, you can't really avoid this company," says Daniel Wege, Business Development Manager at REA Elektronik, about the Weinig Group. For the 17th episode of the "Marking professionals on site" series, he and his partner Frank Debusmann (Sales Director national coding and marking systems) visited the internationally renowned specialist's site in Illertissen. With its saws and system solutions, it covers the entire spectrum of woodworking: from ripping to the fully automated production of window elements. The video "Marking in the wood industry 2", subtitled: "Marking of wood blanks in crosscut saws", which has been online since today, tells the story in the usual brisk style and embedded in a short story.

In terms of content, it follows on from the first video of the small wood special: Once again dressed in traditional carpenter's clothing, Wege and Debusmann bring wood to their next filming location that has been cut at Ladenburger GmbH Holzwerke in Bopfingen - using the very crosscut saws that are manufactured in Illertissen. With Benjamin Schier, cross-cut application engineer at Weinig Dimter GmbH und Co. KG, the marking professionals take a closer look at the special machines - how they work and, above all, how they automatically mark the cut wood. The audience learns which REA JET system Schier means when he says: "The more adverse the conditions at the customer's site, the more we rely on the REA JET ... " And also which coding and marking system Weinig has chosen for the wood that its "fastest saw in the world", the OptiCut 450 Quantum, cuts.

It's already clear: Schier emphasizes that Weinig values REA as a partner because it also supplies "everything from a single source" and also handles special requests from customers - but also because all REA Coding and Marking Systems can be controlled with the uniform TITAN operating platform. And if you watch the video all the way to the end, you will experience a first in the history of the marking professionals: the first after-credit scene.

Of course, the Marking Professionals have long since moved on to the next interesting application of REA Elektronik's coding and marking solutions. The next video in the "REA Marking Professionals on Site" series, which goes online on the REA website on October 15, shows what they experience.
