Seventh video in the series "REA Marking Professionals on Site" is online
Mühltal, July 15, 2021 - The German journey of the Marking Professionals from REA Elektronik continues: For the seventh episode of the video series "Marking Professionals on Site", Frank Debusmann (Sales Director national Coding and Marking Systems) and Daniel Wege (Business Development Manager) traveled to dumpling dough production in Saxony. Their destination: the company Friweika - short for Frische Weidensdorfer Kartoffelprodukte. The movie about their visit is online since today.
Debusmann and Wege are not only experts in a wide range of coding and marking technologies - they can also cook dumplings. The two prove this in the Friweika test kitchen: step by step and by hand, they make delicious dumplings from fresh potatoes. Friweika Key Account Manager Dr. Manja Franke tells them and the audience how the whole thing is done on a large scale in the factory - accompanied by recorded images from production showing huge potato washing machines, sorters, cutting, cooking and mixing systems.
The finished dumpling dough is sold in a foil bag. A direct printing system from REA Elektronik's REA JET line applies important information such as the batch number and best before date to the primary packaging in a permanent manner before filling. The system was recommended to Friweika by the manufacturer of the machine, as was the coding and marking system for the secondary packaging ready for dispatch. "We then added further printing systems from REA JET," reports Dr. Manja Franke. The coding and marking technologies used in dumpling dough production and how exactly the dumplings are produced can all be seen in the new "Marking professionals on site" strip.
As every month, a new episode of the REA Elektronik video series will also go online on the REA website in August. The destination chosen by the "REA Marking Professionals on Site" will not be revealed until August 15.
