Sustainable, individual, reliable: logistics marking from REA
At LogiMAT 2025, the full-range supplier will be showcasing its systems from marking to code verification

At LogiMAT 2025, the full-range supplier will be showcasing its systems from marking to code verification
MĂĽhltal, January 22, 2025 - Modern coding and marking systems ensure efficiency, traceability and compliance in industrial processes. As an experienced partner for manufacturing and logistics, the South Hessian full-range supplier REA will be presenting its industrial coding and marking systems, labeling technology and code verification systems "Made in Germany" at LogiMAT 2025.
Industrial marking has to be individual, correct and permanently readable - whether printed directly on product packaging or shipping cartons or applied using conventional labels or linerless labels. With its systems for contact-free direct printing (REA JET) and labeling (REA LABEL), specialist REA Elektronik supplies state-of-the-art technology for high-quality markings that can also be seamlessly integrated into the production infrastructure. The code verification systems from the REA VERIFIER business unit complete the range of marking and verification products from a single source. At LogiMAT 2025, REA will be showcasing the innovations and technologies from its comprehensive range, which is developed and manufactured in Germany and enjoys an excellent international reputation.
REA LABEL pallet labeler: important information on up to three sides
The REA LABEL pallet labelers offer the greatest flexibility in marking. Depending on the model, they print A4 or A5 labels in portrait or landscape format and apply them to up to three sides of the pallet in throughfeed or at a standstill. Thanks to their modular design, they fit seamlessly into the production process.
Fast and reliable: the REA LABEL high-speed servo labeler
With high print quality and dispensing speeds of up to 2,500 labels per hour, the servo-electric REA LABEL ES high-speed servo labeler significantly increases the level of automation in production: it automatically detects shipping containers with varying heights and places the labels in exactly the right place using contact-free compressed air. With its modular and compact design, it can be individually adapted to customer requirements and local conditions.
Cost-effective in-house solution: color labels from the REA LABEL ColorJet 2
Whether in production, logistics or automation - wherever high-quality color labels are needed "on demand" for industrial use, the REA LABEL ColorJet 2 is at its best. The compact color label printer with its robust, powder-coated housing is a cost-effective alternative to an external print shop for small to medium print volumes. It prints small and medium quantities of labels individually or in series in full color with a print width of up to 21 centimeters and in the highest resolution of up to 1,200 dpi.
It comes in three versions. With the standard REA LABEL ColorJet 2S model, the label can be removed manually using a tear-off edge. The REA LABEL ColorJet 2C cuts labels individually or after a print job using a circular knife. The REA LABEL ColorJet 2P can print and dispense labels 1 to 1 in full color. The backing paper is rewound by an external rewinder. This system can be used for manual workstations, fully automated applications or in cooperation with a robot system. It has a flexible PLC I/O interface.
All REA labeling systems can be operated with commercially available print modules (including those from Novexx, CAB, SATO and Zebra).
REA JET UP: high-contrast printing on smooth surfaces
Introduced at LogiMAT 2024, the piezo-based REA JET UP with its innovative technology has been a much sought-after all-rounder ever since. The system prints high-contrast and reliable markings directly onto the packaging. This works on absorbent and non-absorbent surfaces - because UP stands for "Universal Print". Whether for paper, cardboard or wood, coated or finished packaging, various inks are available for marking: from oil-based and slightly solvent-based to light-curing for materials on which no other ink would dry. This also recommends the REA JET UP for the marking of secondary packaging that is both attractive and informative. The system prints at print heights of up to 108 mm per cascadable print head and at up to 1,600 dpi, so that even small characters are clearly readable.
REA VERIFIER: Verify codes individually or inline
The code verification systems from REA VERIFIER provide support in optimizing the print quality of 1D and 2D Codes, improving the first-pass reading rate and complying with legal quality requirements - also in accordance with international standards, GS1 and other specifications. An important building block for reducing costs due to faulty codes and poor code quality.
The introduction of 2D Codes in retail - keyword: "2D in Retail" - extends seamless traceability from the transport unit to the individual product. Product marking is carried out using the GS1 DataMatrix or the GS1 Digital Link, for example in the QR code. The REA VERIFIER measuring devices support the control of the correct structure of the data in both structures. The basic code properties such as contrast, dimensional accuracy and especially code properties are measured in accordance with the new ISO/IEC 15415:2024 test standard.
The high print quality achieved with REA Coding and Marking Systems, as well as the precise quality control with REA VERIFIER measuring devices, are essential for interoperability and high process-reliability (First Scan - First Read) throughout the supply chain. REA VERIFIER is listed by GS1 as manufacturer "2D in Retail" readyness.
