Marking and preparation of sheets and metals - digital, reliable, integrated
At Blechexpo 2023, REA Elektronik will present systems for industrial marking and application of liquid fluids
Mühltal, September 6, 2023 - Modern sheet metal processing needs reliable marking for its future-proof processes. The systems from REA Elektronik work reliably even in the most adverse environments and on difficult surfaces. They do this not only in digital marking, but also in the application of liquids, which are helpful in metal forming. The systems from the REA JET product line will be on display at Blechexpo 2023.
In a draughty workshop or at a hot blast furnace, in a rough and dirty production environment or during delicate fine cutting in the cleanest of rooms, on an oily surface or a workpiece at temperatures of up to 1,000 degrees - tubes, profiles, sheets or remnants have to be reliably marked with information. So that people and digital systems can process them correctly and recognize, assign and trace them at any time for their entire product life.
With its REA JET product line, REA Elektronik has a solution for each of these marking requirements and extremes, adapting the flexible systems individually to the user's requirements and integrating them into their production environment. Coding and marking systems are especially suitable for the application of liquids to prepare sheet metal and metals for processing companies - they enable the precise or extensive application of coolants or lubricants, primers, protective coatings or process liquids.
All REA JET coding and marking solutions can be controlled using the single operating concept REA JET TITAN Platform. This saves companies having to train employees for different technologies and also makes personnel planning easier.
Marking and wetting - from small to very large
The REA JET SC 2.0 small character inkjet printer prints smooth and non-absorbent metallic surfaces - even in hard-to-reach places - fast and effectively using CIJ technology. It is the most compact system in its class - robust, lightweight and of small dimensions. It prints alphanumeric texts, barcodes and 2D Matrix Codes in all languages and with all international character sets in the smallest font and with a vertical resolution of 48 pixels for up to eight lines, which also dry in the shortest possible time.
The REA JET High Resolution Inkjet Printer HR eliminates the need for labeling metal components and the associated logistics and warehousing. With its innovative "wet-on-wet" technology, it marks difficult-to-mark, smooth, metallic substrates inline and razor-sharp with the best adhesion and readability and the shortest drying time. Its double print head applies an ink layer in a single step and immediately prints machine-readable codes or plain text in black or colored ink before both dry together.
REA and LBI oil free present solutions for printing lubricants
With the "REA JET HR Lube" and "REA JET DOD Lube" systems, the cooperation partners REA and LBI oil free(www.lbi-oilfree.de) have successfully implemented the printing of oil-free lubricants.
In the REA JET HR Lube version, the cartridges are filled with oil-free lubricants from LBI oil free - for their digital dosing in the preparation of metals for stamping and forming applications. With thermal inkjet technolgie, high-precision lubricant images can be applied individually and with great contour sharpness - and they are also mist-free and aerosol-free. This increases production and operational reliability, as the lubricant is only applied where it is needed. As with the inkjet version of the REA JET HR, up to eight print heads with an individual application width of up to 12.7 millimetres can be combined with each other - for a wetting area of more than 100 millimetres wide.
With the "REA JET HR Lube" solution, REA has been nominated for the "best award 2023" in the "Punching Technology" category.
The REA JET Large Character Inkjet Printer is also available for lubricant applications. With different application widths and at print speeds of up to 600 meters/minute, it also applies mist-free and aerosol-free oil-free LBI lubricants. The REA JET DOD is the fastest and most durable system in its class and delivers razor-sharp print images even in dusty and humid environments, with vibration and extreme temperature fluctuations. The use of pigmented, fast-drying inks in the REA JET DOD 2.0 digital printer achieves excellent, high-contrast printing results on non-absorbent surfaces such as steel pipes or aluminum plates. Texts, data or logos are produced at a height of 5 to 140 mm per print head. Several print heads can be combined for larger markings or lubricant applications.
Spray mark technolgie for precise lines
The REA JET ST spray mark technolgie solutions enable precise marking of metallic surfaces with paints and varnishes. They print dot by dot, even in areas that are difficult to access and at surface temperatures of up to 1,000 degrees Celsius. The spray mark blocks with seven, ten or 16 nozzles are used for large texts. These are also advantageous for the other possible applications of the REA JET ST systems: REA JET's spray mark technolgies can be used to apply soaps, coolants and cutting agents, as well as lubricants and fluxes for automatic soldering processes (flux). They can also be used for sealing with protective lacquer, for example in PCB production, or for the metered application of oils and release agents.
Laser marking - consumable-free and permanent
The laser marking systems from REA JET are completely consumable-free. The REA JET FL fiber laser is strong in the permanent marking of even harder metals such as stainless steel and titanium. Using the power of light, it produces markings, codes and markings of all kinds from variable data - at Blechexpo 2023, it can be seen integrated into the laser processing cabin. Thanks to its convertible concept and autofocus function, customers can adapt it to their precise requirements - the variables range from a stand-alone manual workstation to a fully automated networked marking station, from the size of the process chamber to the power and placement of the laser and the marking field to the material feed and removal.
