Laser coding and marking solutions for glass surfaces
Petri dishes, water and wine bottles, glass doors, windshields: The range of glass products that have to be marked permanently and abrasion-resistant is wide. Our industrial laser coding and marking systems do this reliably and accurately.

LASER MARKING ON GLASS AND GLASS PRODUCTS
Many glass products and packaging require abrasion-resistant, permanently durable markings for clear identification and traceability. Batch numbers, origin information, serial numbers and labels such as the CE marking can be applied to almost any glass surface using economical, consumable-freeCO2 Lasers. The power of the engraving laser is adjusted to the type of glass, the glass thickness and the desired size so that high-contrast, weather and chemical-resistant markings are produced. Glass engraving is very suitable for coated glass, such as laminated safety glass. A little sensitivity is required for used glass. The more often it is recycled and melted down, the more easily it can shatter during lasering. For this reason, the laser power for marking used glass has to be carefully balanced.
What is important for laser coding and marking solutions for glass?
- Careful adjustment of the laser power to the type of glass
- Reliable operation in industrial production
- Simple integration into filling systems
- Splash protection in accordance with protection class IP 65
- Legal and industrial marking specifications
- Consumable-free, wear-free operation
Filling systems for beverages, food or medicines, production plants or manufacturing plants for test tubes, windows, windscreens or PV modules: We integrate ourCO2 Lasers perfectly into any production system. Thanks to their slim design, they require little installation space and can also be accommodated in confined plant situations.CO2 Lasers also cope very well with high production speeds, such as those commonly used in beverage bottling, and always produce the same, razor-sharp engraving images. Multi-line markings are also possible. In order to work without failure in damp production environments, the laser systems should have splash protection (protecion class IP 65).
Industrial laser coding and marking solutions are used wherever glass and glass packaging are marked. Various glass products such as window panes, glass blocks, ampoules, drinks bottles, jars or medicine bottles are marked in this way.
