Printer modules are essential components in labeling and packaging systems that integrate the printing of labels directly into existing production lines. They are used in sectors such as the food, pharmaceutical and logistics industries, where precise and fast labeling of variable data is required.
A print module in labeling and packaging systems works by receiving print data such as barcodes and text from a central system via interfaces. It uses direct thermal or thermal transfer printing technologies to create durable and accurate labels.
The module is seamlessly integrated into the production line and synchronizes itself via sensors to apply labels at the right moment. Integrated applicators automatically apply the printed labels to the products.
User-friendly interfaces make it easy to control and adjust print jobs. Some systems also offer monitoring functions to ensure the quality of printers. This ensures efficient and flexible labeling in the production process.
The most common area of application is the marking of flexible film packaging or cardboard boxes. Our systems not only impress with their easy-to-change ribbon cassette, but thanks to the separate control system, they can also be installed in almost all horizontal and vertical packaging systems. With a print resolution of 300 dpi, printing graphics and company logos is no problem and with a print speed of up to 800 mm/s, almost all customer requirements are met. The systems can be used both intermittently and continuously and are available in left and right-hand versions.
