Continuous inkjet printing technology (CIJ)
Continuos inkjet printers (CIJ) print on smooth surfaces fast, contact-free and with high resolution, ideal for series production. The ink jet is divided into droplets, electrostatically directed and applied to the product. Uncharged drops are recycled, producing a continuous ink cycle.
In the continuous inkjet process (CIJ), a continuous ink jet is directed through a nozzle in the print head. A piezoelectric element in the nozzle causes the ink jet to split into droplets. These droplets are then negatively charged. The next step involves aligning the droplets for the printing process: they fly through an electromagnetic field between two deflection plates. Depending on their electrical charge, the drops are deflected in such a way that the desired lettering is produced on the passing object.
Ink drops that have not received an electrical charge remain in the print head. They are collected there, fed back into the ink tank and reused. This enables considerable ink savings and ensures a closed ink circuit, which gives the continuous inkjet process its name.
The REA JET SC 2.0 coding model available from us, the 3rd generation of which was developed especially for fast and precise printing, ensures impressive efficiency with a print frequency of 50 prints per second.
The REA JET SC 2.0 is an advanced CIJ printing system for industrial applications that prints fast and accurately. It processes 1- to 8-line texts, barcodes and logos in high resolution on various materials such as plastic, metal, glass and cardboard. The simple operation, low maintenance requirements and modular design enable easy integration into production lines.
With print speeds of up to 400m/min and a print frequency of up to 50 printers per second, the system offers high efficiency. Flexible clearances of up to 70 mm and fast drying times facilitate the production process.
The REA JET SC 2.0 is suitable for industries such as food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, electronics and automotive and offers high print quality, reliability and flexibility for modern industrial requirements.
