The Darmstadt Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) has awarded the best trainees from the Rhine-Main-Neckar district.
This includes our trainee at REA Tami Scheil, who was the best exam candidate at the IHK Darmstadt Rhein Main Neckar with 97% of 100% in the warehouse logistics specialist apprenticeship.
She has already successfully shortened her training, which normally lasts 3 years, to 2.5 years. During this time, she worked in various logistics departments at REA.
Her tasks included activities in incoming and outgoing goods, where she accepted and checked goods in accordance with the framework curriculum, as well as loading and dispatching them. She also worked in the shipping department. There she gained an insight into the wide range of REAs, from small parts to sensitive electrical parts and hazardous goods. She took part in on-site seminars on the packaging of hazardous goods in order to become certified to ship them. In the warehouse area, she was also able to actively support ongoing projects, such as the comprehensive warehouse conversion to a new system. Last but not least, the purchasing department gave her an insight into the procurement of goods.
We are particularly proud of Tami Scheil's skills and outstanding results! After successfully completing her apprenticeship, the doors are wide open for Tami - starting a new job, further training to become a logistics foreman or studying logistics. Tami has decided to study logistics management - and for us. She will remain with us as a working student alongside her studies. This will allow her to indentation the commercial part of her training and lay the foundations for her studies. We wish Tami continued success on her professional and personal journey and look forward to accompanying and supporting her.
If you are also about to graduate from school, find the logistics profession exciting and want to work in interesting, varied subject areas, then apply to REA as a warehouse logistics specialist (m/f/d) for the 2023 training year.
We look forward to meeting you!
