The piezo printer REA JET UP (Universal Print) is an innovative, high resolution and completely newly developed direct printing system. This multi-talent enables contact-free printing on a wide variety of surfaces, such as paper, cardboard, wood, coated and painted surfaces, with a tripling of the previously known speed potential and an optimum print distance of 3 - 5 mm. Alphanumeric texts, 1D/2D Codes, graphics, company logos or product images can be printed precisely and with high contrast at a print height of up to 108.37 mm and a resolution of up to 1500 dpi. Cascaded print heads also print even larger print images.

The REA JET UP Inkjet Printer stands out for its innovative, patented ink formulation, which was developed for high-resolution direct printing on smooth surfaces and has high drying speeds. The range of inks extends from oil and light solvent-based inks to UV-curable inks for demanding surfaces. In this way, the costs for label purchase, storage, printing and application can be saved even on difficult surfaces.

Print head

Our REA JET UP print head represents a new generation of marking solutions that delivers outstanding performance and precision. This innovative system allows a maximum marking height of up to 108.37 mm per print head, enabling far greater area coverage in a single pass than ever before.

Thanks to the vertical resolution of up to 360 dpi and an impressive horizontal resolution of up to 1500 dpi, the REA JET UP print head guarantees sharp and clear markings, even with the smallest details. This high resolution not only enables high-quality representations of text and graphics, but also compliance with standards and industry regulations.

Another outstanding feature of the REA JET UP print head is the significant increase in production speed. With a tripling of the previously known speed potential, this print head sets new standards in efficiency and productivity. This increase in performance enables companies to significantly increase their throughput rate without compromising on quality.

Controller

The REA JET UP piezo printer offers error-free and fast operation thanks to two different controllers: the Universal Controller and the Universal Touch Controller.

The Universal Controller is equipped with a push and turn control, a number pad and a cursor block. It supports the connection of up to two UP print heads simultaneously and enables a print height of up to 216.74 mm when using two print heads.

In contrast, the Universal Touch Controller is operated exclusively via the 10.1-inch display and has no buttons or knobs. Users can keep their gloves on and control the coding and marking system via the Universal Touch Controller's modern, tile-based user interface. The Universal Touch Controller supports the connection of up to four UP print heads, allowing a print height of 433.48 mm to be achieved when all print heads are used.

Ink supply unit

The REA JET UP impresses with its ink supply system, which guarantees the highest print quality and efficiency. Thanks to the continuous circulation of ink, nozzle failures are avoided, ensuring optimum printing performance at all times. The ink can be refilled without interrupting printing, which significantly increases productivity. The integrated RFID reader ensures that the correct ink is always refilled. The system can be equipped with a heater for use in cold ambient conditions.

The patented, innovative ink formulation stands out for its extremely high drying speed. REA offers various ink types such as UV-curing and oil-based inks to meet different requirements.

By using REA inks, costs for labels can be saved, especially on difficult surfaces, as the print can be applied directly to the material. This significantly reduces the cost of label purchasing, storage, printing and application.
