The wood-working industry is faced with numerous international standards for coding and marking of products. Apart from CE and IPPC marking standards required by law, the trade market is increasingly demanding information about origin and producer as well as data for tracing goods.
The coding and marking system has to be fast and flexible for being able to provide timber of different consistencies with correct printing results. Moreover, the system needs to be extremely sturdy and to be able to run reliably even under toughest conditions – dust, temperature variations and vibrations.
