Labeling systems
Labeling systems for pre-printed labels are essential in the packaging and logistics industry. They ensure efficient and precise product marking, support traceability, brand protection and fulfill legal requirements. The systems combine dispensers and application modules and are used in industries such as food, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.
The basic functionality of a labeling system begins with a label supply based on a roll of pre-printed labels. These labels are already printed with the required information such as 1D Barcodes, 2D-Matrix-Codes, product information or logos. The label dispenser pulls the labels from the roll and positions them precisely for application. The application module then applies the labels to the surface of the product, either mechanically or by using compressed air.
