Colored text and logos on colored plastic

Mühltal, September 09, 2024 - With its full range of marking and code verification technologies, REA has earned an excellent reputation as an innovative developer and manufacturer of solutions for a wide range of customer and project requirements. At Fakuma 2024 in Friedrichshafen, the Mühltal-based company will be presenting its latest innovations for the variable, colorful and high-contrast marking of plastic surfaces during the manufacturing process.

Which marking is more cost-effective, high-contrast, better and permanently readable - with ink, laser or the classic embossing wheels? This question probably has to be answered, tested and solved by every plastics processing company for each individual product and for each individual situation and requirement. Not so easy, given the increasingly opaque and fast-growing range of technologies on offer, especially diode-pumped solid-state lasers (such as green and UV lasers). If, in addition to the marking task, high demands are also placed on operational reliability, occupational safety and the reliable functioning of the solution in the event of material and recipe changes or fluctuations, versatility professionals such as those from REA can make the decisive difference with complete solutions.

The specialists at REA have closely examined the requirements and wishes of manufacturers of plastic profiles, pipes, cables and foils and tailored their new developments accordingly. The variable marking of the polyolefin plastics group during production has always been considered very challenging - and REA is convinced that it has now brought a real game changer to the market. For PP, PA, PE, but also for elastomers and many others, REA will be presenting its latest system developments for contact-free, variable and high-contrast marking in high resolution at Fakuma, with developers placing great emphasis on durability and resistance. The specialists from REA can now respond to color requests on an individual customer and product basis, which is an absolutely unique selling point in this segment.
